This potion may not be a cure for all ills, but it’s certainly a great treatment for several medical conditions.
CBD Lemon Potion has 7% THC, which is enough to make you feel an uplift to your mood without coming anywhere near a high. It’s also enough for some light but fast and welcome pain relief. Barney’s Farm decided to tip the scales on what is often considered the medical “golden ratio” and has gone for 2:1 CBD:THC. This means that the CBD level is about 15%. While this may make it sound like CBD Lemon Potion won’t so much leave you couch locked as couch anchored, this strain is only just Indica dominant (60/40). So, while it’s certainly mentally and physically relaxing, it’s much lighter than you may have thought. In fact, some people find that it not only makes them feel happier but also more creative, in the way you’d expect from Sativas.
All in all, CBD Lemon Potion offers a decent yield. Indoor growers can expect up to 400g/m2 and outdoor growers about 400g per plant. While this may not sound like a great deal you need to remember that CBD Lemon Potion is not only autoflowering, it is also very short. Plants are unlikely to grow taller than a metre, 80cm to 90cm is more usual. This obviously limits the space for buds to grow, but it also makes for a quick grow time and fast medicine!
Speaking of quick grow times, CBD Lemon Potion will be ready in just ten weeks from seed. As this is an autoflowering strain, there is no specific harvest period as such. Your outdoor growing period will be determined by your local climate. This strain really benefits from a warm, sunny and dry climate so outside of the Mediterranean area. Once you get to the further north of Europe, growing under glass may be your best option, or just treating this as an indoor strain.
This is a nice, easy strain and great for beginners. Any strain based on Kush tends to have robust genetics and this strain is indeed nicely resilient against mould, diseases and pests. The only key point to remember here is that you need to allow enough space for your plants to spread outwards as well as upwards, without compromising on good air flow.
As these plants are so small, they don’t need much in the way of either nutrients or physical support. If you really want to push your harvest up to the maximum, you can try defoliation and/or low stress training. This allows your plants get the full benefit of the available light, but even if you don’t, you can still look forward to a very decent harvest.
As this is an autoflowering strain, you don’t have to worry about managing light cycles. In other words, if you have limited growing experience and/or time, then this strain could be a great choice for you.
CBD Lemon Potion tastes very similar to its popular parent, Lemon Kush. You get that lovely rich, spicy base counterbalanced by the freshness of lemon. This taste is mirrored in the aroma.
The fact that CBD Lemon Potion is so low in THC means that you don’t get all that much in the way of glittering, gleaming trichomes. But you do get bright green leaves and vivid orange pistils. When you do start to grind up these beauties, you’ll release all that lovely spicy lemon fragrance.
