BLZ-Bud-Marijuana

BLZ Bud

We have to own up that we love a name with a good pun in it, we like it even better when it relates to a hybrid of the legendary G13 (along with Trainwreck and Silver Haze) but joking aside, this is a high-quality strain with a really great taste and plenty of THC.

Strength

BLZ Bud Marijuanna Strain

BLZ Bud averages around 20% THC and it gets to work quickly, so if you’re looking for a strain which can zap pain nearly instantly, then this could be a very good choice. Once the initial head-high wears off, the couch lock kicks in as you experience a buzz which is both euphoric and calming. Overall, we’d class this as a daytime strain, albeit one which requires you to allow yourself a decent period of recovery, but we have heard of it being used for insomnia. We wouldn’t recommend it if insomnia is your main, medical issue, but for occasional use BLZ Bud could be a reasonable option. Regardless of when you use BLZ Bud, you definitely want to be lying down, or at least sitting in a very comfortable chair before you take your first draw since we meant what we said about this strain acting quickly.

Yield

Indoor growers can expect about 500 gr/m2 under a 600 watt light. Outdoor growing is possible although results can be more variable. For all its devilish name, BLZ Bud is, if not an angel to grow, then certainly a reasonably friendly strain and a feasible choice for beginners. It has the classic Indica “Christmas tree” growth pattern and stays a reasonably compact height of between 1 and 1.5 metres. Plant training can keep this even lower. Its bushy structure means that you’re unlikely to need to worry about providing support to stop it falling over or breaking up.

Speed

BLZ Bud y strain

BLZ Bud will be ready in a reasonably prompt 8 to 9 weeks, so mid-/end September for outdoor growers. It will grow happily enough outdoors with the usual caveats about providing protection from the weather and practicing good odour control.

Taste

Overall this is a strain for those who like their weed on the sweet side, but not overly sweet, some people say that it reminds them of apples. There are sour base notes and a dash of spice to take the edge off the sweetness. Those with delicate throats should note the fact that BLZ Bud has a very smooth smoke, which is highly unlikely to trigger coughs.

Bag Appeal

BLZ Bud Marijuana

BLZ Bud is actually quite a cheerful-looking weed since it is a bright green and has a decent sprinkling of bright orange pistils to add even more colour to it. Nugs are dense and compact without being so hard you break fingers trying to crumble them and the scent reflects the taste. Some people find the aroma has a creaminess to it, like bananas.

We love the original G13 and BLZ Bud arguably has even more going for it. It’s reasonably easy to grow, so a committed beginner should be able to manage it (basically you’re only going to get much simpler if you go down the autoflowering route), it has a great taste (the smoothness of the smoke is a distinct advantage in our opinion) and it gets to work really quickly. We know we’ve mentioned this before, but we’d really like to underline this, if you’re used to high-THC strains which need a bit of time to get started then BLZ Bud will be a very different experience for you. It’s up to you to decide whether or not this is a benefit or if you prefer to have a bit more time to ease into your medication.

super-silver-haze-marijuana-strain

Super Silver Haze

It is necessary when discussing anything related to Super Silver Haze to mention its illustrious history. This is a strain that burst into fame in the 90’s, winning over the hearts of cannabis lovers enough to take home the High Times Cannabis Cup titles in 1997, 1998 and 1999. Such awards do not come lightly, but Super Silver Haze provides the quality and good times to back its reputation up.

The result of crossing Skunk, Haze and Northern Lights, Super Silver Haze boasts an incredible pedigree. Potent and high yielding, this strain seems to offer it all. So whether you’re a beginner or experienced smoker, Super Silver Haze offers quality and good times in spades.

Strength

Super Silver Haze

Super Silver Haze is a beautifully balanced hybrid, with its 75% sativa genetics sitting alongside its 25% indica side to offer a smoking experience that offers just the right amount of everything. Its 19-22% THC level fuels a strong high and stone that is comfortable but should not be underestimated by the less experienced.

Its first-class high both relaxes and energises, giving to your day instead of taking from it through lethargy as some other strains do. The effects of Super Silver Haze come on very quickly after smoking, offering motivation and creativity without the over-stimulation that is occasionally found in strong sativas. This cerebral high is extremely pleasant, with a clean, clear sensation carrying throughout it that mixes well with the euphoria it creates.

The lesser indica component is also evident in the mix, offering a physical relaxation that sits wonderfully alongside the mental effects. The result is a fantastic strain that has an almost spiritual component to it, suitable for day or night and highly enjoyable in a social setting. Better still, a little will go a long way and Super Silver Haze will keep you occupied for hours with just a few drags.
As functional as it is enjoyable, the strain can be used for such medicinal purposes as treating stress, depression, anxiety and pain relief.

Yield

Super Silver Haze is really one strain that rewards those willing to put the time and effort into it. Those who treat this THC-laced wonder right will be rewarded with 450-550g per m2 of bud if grown indoors, and 550g+ per plant if grown outdoors in the right conditions.

Speed

Super Silver Haze

The potential yields from Super Silver Haze are not the only reason to take good care of it, however, as the strength and taste of the harvest will also improve from your attentiveness. Super Silver Haze is a hungry strain and will enjoy a generous amount of nutrients fed to it. This demanding nature of the plant makes it of moderate difficulty to grow, though you may find it an easier experience than some other Haze strains.

Indoor growing will be more practical for most, with Super Silver Haze preferring warm weather and its sativa genetics giving it the kind of height that is sure to draw attention. The size issue can be dealt with by tying the plant’s large central cola but its quick flowering time of 9-11 weeks means it is far easier than many other slower growing Haze strains. Those struggling to see the best of their Super Silver Haze plant may also benefit from using a Sea of Green (SoG) setup.

Anyone wishing to grow outside may find greenhouse cultivation is a practical option, though it should be reiterated that without sufficient warmth and sunlight Super Silver Haze may not reach its potential either in yield size or quality. If doing so, however, harvests should be ready in October or November.

While not recommended for complete novices, Super Silver Haze is not unreasonable and is generally quite forgiving of a few minor errors in feeding or temperature settings. For this reason the plant would still be suitable for those with even a little experience in growing.

Taste

Super Siler Haze is best known for its incredible high, but its taste should certainly not be overlooked either. The initial burst of flavour is one of citrusy freshness as the prominent sweet lemon notes are encountered. Behind this, however, is the kind of earthiness and sour Haze essence that adds depth and satisfying richness to it.

Bag Appeal

Super Silver Haze

The popcorn-kernel sized nugs may not be so impressive visually compared to some of the more exotic-looking strains out there, but those in the know understand what that unassuming green bud hides within. The signs are there, however, with its crystal laced surface tempting the eye.

The scent of the bud is pleasant but not overpowering, reflecting the smooth and elegant high of the smoking experience. Careful attention to the smell will reveal a slightly spicy note or two among the stronger citrus base in an unostentatious first introduction to this incredible strain.

tsi-fly

Tsi Fly

Tsi Fly is a real, little all-rounder, which is great for beginners, but will keep the more experienced very happy too.

Strength

Tsi Fly Marijuanna Strain

Tsi Fly has about 10% to 15% THC, which puts it on the low to moderate side by today’s standards. Having said that, it’s quite enough to deal quickly and effectively with moderate pain. As you’d expect from such a compact plat, Tsi Fly has Indica leanings, so your moderate high will be followed by a gentle stone, making this strain a good choice for users who may want to use it during the day or at night. The stone is light enough that, if you need to, you can just get up and get on with your day (obviously leaving yourself plenty of time before you do anything complex such as driving), but it can also be enough to help settle you into sleep, so again, although there are better insomnia strains out there, if that’s your main problem, Tsi Fly is a perfectly reasonable choice for light and/or occasional use. In other words, as we’ve previously indicated, this isn’t a “knock-out” strain, by any definition, but it’s a flexible all-rounder, which is more than capable of dealing with everyday issues such as tension headaches.

Yield

Even though Tsi Fly rarely reaches a metre in height, it can still yield a very impressive 600g/m2, if put into a sea-of-green or screen-of-green set-up. Beginners aren’t likely to get such high yields, but even they can expect a decent harvest as long as they pay attention to the basics of marijuana growing, in particular good ventilation and odour control. Although Tsi Fly’s diminutive dimensions make it a popular choice for indoor growing, in principle, it is also suitable for outdoor growing although, realistically, that is only likely to be a practical option for growers in the far south of Europe.

Speed

Tsi Fly strain

As is often the case with compact strains, Tsi Fly finishes in a mere 8 to 9 weeks indoors. Outdoors, it will be ready around the start of October, hence why it’s unlikely to be suitable for outdoor growers in most of Europe.

Taste

This is another strain for those who like it fruity, in this case apricot. Although the flavour is rich and strong, it’s still light and clean. This is more refreshing and less heavy than many Indicas.

Bag Appeal

Tsi Fly Marijuana

Tsi Fly, to be honest, isn’t particularly beautiful, but it is bountiful and has big nugs, by big nugs we mean that they’re often compared to golf balls and for once this isn’t really an exaggeration. In other words, your bag may not look like much on the outside, but it will have a very satisfying weight and once you start breaking open the nugs (which are compact and solid), you can enjoy that mouth-watering apricot scent.

We’d be the last people to abandon the old-school classics, but we recognize that modern needs, wants and tastes call for new, modern strains to satisfy them. Tsi Fly is a strain which has been developed out of established varieties (C4 x Cinderella 99), but adapted for modern growers, many of whom are going to be gardening indoors and in tight grow spaces for the simple reason that modern houses are shrinking in size and gardens are becoming both rarer and smaller. Additionally, there is a clear need and demand for strains which are capable all-rounders rather than super-strong or tailored for a specific medical condition. People want strains they can grow easily and use for everyday problems from tension headaches, to regular aches and pains (such as sports injuries) to occasional bouts of insomnia and they want strains which taste good as well as doing good. Tsi Fly delivers on every count.

blue-dream-auto-marijuana

Blue Dream Auto

Sporting a fitting name if ever there was one, Blue Dream Auto’s moniker references its beautiful colouring, its easy growth, and its vivid dreamlike effects. Developed by crossing Blue Dream with a ruderalis, 420 Seeds have taken the best of the original strain and imbued it with some much-appreciated autoflowering properties.

Contrary to what might be expected, the strain lost very little when earning the ‘Auto’ in its title, retaining the goodness of Blue Dream while making it easier than ever to grow this gem for yourself. It is because of how well Blue Dream Auto has kept its charm during its transition to an autoflowerer that it is among the top strains with ruderalis genetics for many. But even if its sublime effects and easy growth don’t capture your attention, you may still want to keep this blue-tinged wonder around for eye candy.

Strength

Blue Dream Auto

Running at 15-20% THC levels, Blue Dream Auto will leave few complaining about its strength. As a hybrid it has a mix of sativa, indica and ruderalis genetics, with the 70% sativa proportion dominating the effects while allowing a more complex smoking experience due to its substantial indica side.

Blue Dream Auto is no simple couch-lock sedative, making its sativa credentials evident from the start by offering a far more uplifting and even refreshing effect than the norm. Do not let such gentle-sounding descriptions mislead you, however, as Blue Dream Auto is powerful and long lasting. In place of a more typical lethargy is an all-over mental and physical buzz that energises, relaxes and potentially even motivates.

This consequently makes Blue Dream Auto the perfect social strain. Under its influence conversation becomes effortless and natural, its effects coming on in swift yet easily manageable waves of relaxation. As the main body of the high drifts away you return gently and cleanly, making this one great strain for daytime use a nd occasions where one needs to remain active.
Best enjoyed in a casual setting with friends and an appreciation for a good Haze-like strain, Blue Dream Auto is in no hurry to leave once consumed and can see you enjoying the whole evening even on rather modest amounts.

Yield

This strain is a keen fan of the outdoors, and those able to provide the right environment will see Blue Dream Auto net them 600g per m2. Indoor growth is also another feasible option and can garner a very respectable 400g per m2.

Speed

Blue Dream Auto

Fast and stealthy, Blue Dream Auto will find itself in the grow rooms, gardens and greenhouses of weed aficionados of all levels of experience. It boasts some very hardy genetics that have given it good disease and pest resistance, while its swift flowering time of 70-75 days minimises the time for any complications to arise.

The plant definitely makes its sativa genetics known long before you get to try its buds, growing to ceiling-scraping heights typical of sativas. Despite this it fares well indoors, provided it is given good lighting and enough nutrients to satisfy its voracious appetite. Experienced growers of the strain recommend adding 30% of coco to its soil mix and watering it regularly and often in small amounts.

Outdoors Blue Dream Auto does well in soil but seems to thrive especially well in greenhouses. Its tendency to grow tall and stretch out means some seclusion and privacy is advised, but those able to grow it outside and provide the right conditions will see themselves richly rewarded with a greater harvest. Its preferred climate is warm, dry, and typically Mediterranean, and those who do not live in such a location may struggle with outdoor growth.

As the plant grows it will develop a large central kola, with tight internodes and long branching that aids evenly developed production. During development you may potentially see the plant turn the characteristic shades of blue, violet and silver it is known for.

Taste

With its Blueberry ancestry it is hardly surprising Blue Dream Auto delivers such a wonderful taste. Its base seems to be a hash-like flavour, while atop this sits a rich mixture of blueberries among a range of other sweet and tangy fruity notes.

Blue Dream Auto does not stop there, however. It is not known for its incredible flavour for no reason and in the mix you will find fleeting bits of pine, spices, incense, and a sharp citrus element that likely comes from the berry taste.

Bag Appeal

Blue Dream Auto

With its rich, complex and satisfying taste it should hardly come as a surprise that Blue Dream Auto has an enticing scent to match it. As you breathe it in those elusive peppery notes that could only be peripherally detected in the taste come alive, letting you know this is far more than a splash of simple fruitiness.

Visually the buds have all the beauty and mystique that you could want, with its elongated shape making an aesthetically fitting accompaniment to the rich deep blue colour it often turns. Finished off with a sticky resin coasting, Blue Dream Auto effortlessly promises what it has waiting in store.

green-crack-marijuana-strain

Green Crack

Yes, your eyes aren’t deceiving you, this strain really is named ‘Green Crack’. A high grade genetic wonder by MSNL, this is one fantastic plant that offers the kind of powerful high and sublime flavour that will keep you coming back for more and more. These qualities are what led to the strain earning its controversial name, given to it by none other than the legendary cannabis connoisseur, Snoop Dogg, to emphasise its strength and moreish qualities.

Thankfully the unconventional name is where any raised eyebrows should end, as Green Crack is primarily a fine example of top quality bud that just seems to do everything right. Birthed from crossing an original Sensi Skunk #1 with an unidentified indica from California, few other strains can beat the quality and power of MSNL’S Green Crack.

Strength

Green Crack

The ‘crack’ reference was certainly inspired largely from the strength and effect of the strain, with its 18-21% average THC level effortlessly taking you into the stratosphere. Genetically it is a fairly balanced hybrid, sporting a 60% sativa and 40% indica split that offers plenty both mentally and physically.

However, the whole experience definitely leaves one with the impression that this is firmly sativa dominant. The ride begins quickly with a near-instant head rush that will leave your face tingling as you begin your ascent. Repeat lungfuls will see you rise higher and higher before the indica side of the plant becomes apparent, warmly consuming your body with waves of relaxing physical bliss.
If this sounds good then you’re in luck, because a few drags on Green Crack can see you occupied for hours. This strain really is as long-lasting as it is powerful, with its energetic and powerfully uplifting sativa side mingling with the sedative indica for an all-consuming and highly satisfying experience. This makes it ideal for both daytime and evening use, its effects stimulating enough to prepare you for the day ahead.

Medically its properties make it useful for a wide range of ailments. Its energetic side can wash away fatigue and lethargy while its relaxing nature makes it useful for overcoming insomnia. Alongside this are the usual conditions that cannabis can help with, including stress, anxiety and aches and pains.

Yield

Green Crack is one strain that loves the outdoors, rewarding those putting in the effort to grow outside with bigger and richer yields. Doing so may net you 35-106oz per plant while an indoor harvest will see you getting around 10-15oz per yd2. Even if you can only manage an indoor growing setup, however, you may find Green Crack irresistible enough to grow regardless.

Speed

Green Crack

Showing the best of its skunk genetics, Green Crack grows quick and dense. It is not such a demanding strain if the right conditions are met, and may even be suitable for newbie growers. In its swift eight to ten week flowering time the plant will develop thick stems that are lined with heavy buds. Also demonstrating its sativa-dominant genetics, the plant will generally grow to a boldly sized 100-180cm with some plants even exceeding 4m in height outdoors.

Indoor growing is a feasible option, though a few precautions should be taken. Firstly, the strain is sometimes susceptible to mould, meaning good air circulation through fans or ventilation is necessary. Secondly it can produce quite a strong odour in its growing stages, so measures may need to be taken if housemates or neighbours will object to them being there.

Outdoors the plant really thrives, growing higher, yielding more, and giving a better quality of crop. To get this, however, the plant will need to be grown somewhere with plenty of natural light and a consistently warm climate. Outside too you will find the plant emitting quite a strong odour, so it may not be suitable for everybody’s circumstances. The plant has a short flowering period, however, and those that can meet its requirements will see Green Crack rewarding them with their harvest late September.

Taste

As well as its previously mentioned qualities, Green Crack earned its name from its moreish flavour too. It exhibits a deep fruity taste with a soft sweetness to it, with notes of mango maturing into more complex flavours as the bud matures. These include hints of spice and an earthy pine taste that make this taste experience so much more complex and satisfying.

Bag Appeal

Green Crack

Similar to the taste, much of the joy in Green Crack comes from its equally delicious smell that reflects the complexity and sweetness of the flavour. As the sweetness and mouth-watering fruity sharpness combine, the odour of the growing stages suddenly becomes worth the inconvenience. This matches its alluring bright green nugs that grow thick and dense, providing the kind of tactile experience that lets you know good times are nearby. This all adds up to creating a strain that lives up to its name and makes Green Crack one phenomenal genetic wonder.
