Michka Review

With parents plants like Silver Pearl and Lemon Haze, Michka has between 18 and 22 percent THC, which is enough to make anyone happy.

Erring mostly on the sativa side of its lineage, one can expect to feel the classic sativa effects after consuming. You will feel happy, euphoric, energetic, and creative. Now is not the time for Netflix and chill but rather, to tend to errands that need doing, tasks around the house, or just to let your creative juices flow and guide you.

No matter how you look at it, Michka is one strain that’s going to produce the yields every grower is looking for. Those who have taken their grow setup outdoors will likely get the biggest yields, at 600 grams per square meter. That doesn’t mean that this marijuana plant can’t be taken inside. Indoors growers can expect to reap around 450 grams of beautiful beds per square meter.

Due to its sativa roots, these plants will grow very tall. However, those without the vertical space indoors can use a Screen of Green setup, which will not only help with the height, but can also increase the yield as well.

If Michka has any downside, it may just be that it takes a long time to produce the beautiful buds she’s capable of. This strain is really meant to be an indoor plant. The only exception may be those that live in a dry, hot, Mediterranean climate. This strain takes a longer time to flower, so those living in cooler climates may not have the time needed to fully grow outdoors.

As it is, this strain already takes longer to harvest than most. Those growing outdoors will find harvest times fall anywhere between the middle to the end of October. Indoors, it will take ten to twelve weeks before harvesting. Those who can wait another week or two after these timeframes will be rewarded with an even larger yield.

The taste of Michka is one of the most distinctive traits of the strain. It is very lemony and has many notes of grapefruit in there. This flavor will come through in its aroma throughout its growing period. After the curing process, buds will still keep all of those citrus flavors, but will be mixed with a hint of sweetness too.

Bag Appeal

As a sativa dominant strain, one would expect the buds to be light and airy, almost popcorn-like. However, this strain proves that it’s the exception. With this strain you’ll find that the buds are packed quite tightly and only once they’re broken open do they fully reveal their beauty.
